WHO WE ARE

CRN-International (CRN-I) is an international science-based organization that provides emerging scientific information on nutrition and dietary supplements to the world’s deliberative regulatory and scientific communities. CRN-I is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2019.

OUR WORK

Active participant in CCNFSDU:

CRN-I is a recognized NGO observer at the Codex Alimentarius Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU), actively participating in physical and electronic working groups and providing written and oral expert testimony at Codex meetings. CRN-I is on record for bringing scientifically-grounded considerations on essential nutrients and bioactives.

Scientific conferences and publications:

CRN-I is the only industry group that sponsors and organizes scientific sessions at international and national nutrition and scientific conferences and symposia covering the latest science on topics such as bioactives, healthy aging and optimal nutrition. CRN-I regularly publishes proceedings and relevant scientific content in the peer-reviewed scientific literature, making them widely available (open source). Further, the annual proceedings abstracts are translated in nine additional languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish). See reverse for more on our publications.

ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM

CRN-I’s annual Scientific Symposium, the only such scientific event scheduled in proximity to and specifically for attendees at CCNFSDU, is the signature event for the organization and was recently recognized as an “official side event” by CCNFSDU. CRN-I has organized its annual symposium since 2010.
