Choline is an essential nutrient with critical roles in cell membrane integrity, lipid transport, methylation, and neurodevelopment — yet it remains underconsumed globally and absent from many national dietary guidelines. As the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) convenes in Nuremberg, CRN-International brings together leading experts to examine the breadth and maturity of the choline evidence base. Attendees will explore findings related to brain development, cognitive function, liver health, and metabolic outcomes across the lifespan — and consider what the science means for nutrition policy. This hybrid session, held in person alongside CCNFSDU45 and online, is available at no cost to government regulators, researchers, clinicians, and nutrition industry professionals worldwide.
